I've done a considerable amount of homework and research on supercharging applications for a GS430. Since there is not a specific application currently made for this vehicle the bracket and plumbing need to be custom fabricated. That I can do very inexpensively. What I can't figure out is the engine management system.
If I run at 5psi do I need a stand alone fuel control and larger injectors and larger fuel pump? My research says no, but I want to confirm my conclusions. Also, will the stock MAF sensor work or does it need to be upgraded?
I think there are a few (RMM S/C) still in the classifieds at a good price w/ a lot og goodies. I think Luxury Motror Sports is still making a few for the 430 give them a call .Steve larkin. (626) 256-4849
I just went through this with my '00 GS400. Your experience should be similar if you go FI. I have RMM supercharger kit (oversized injectors .310, no engine management or fuel pump or mass air changes), Lots of power (339 RWHP) but very frequent CE light ....too rich condition. Some issues with stalling or dying at idle. Solution was fuel management system utilizing Greddy E-manage Ultimate, their harness kit, a boost pressure sensor, and sensor wiring harness (total $764). Needs dyno time to program. Took it to Columbus OH. $800 later no problems. Should have done this much sooner.
