Unless you have an overabundance of money....I think it would be retarded to spend that kind of money on a 03' GS300. If you have the funds.....god bless.
It's really up to you...me personally, I couldn't justify it. But I would love to see the end result and see the car in action.
for my age my funds are descent, but i have always wanted a gs300 and i never bought one because i didnt think it could be fast then i found some of the forums and seen alil that could be done. there is no point to it i just love the look and it's 4door luxury. i can take it on trips and hopefully give some bimmers and benzes alil more competition and make them thnk twice. i dont know if there are very many with this kinda of setup or anythng of that nature around but i hope i'll be happy with it. and have some fun with you guys at the meets u guys seem like a good group of enthusiasts.
and if i'm lucky people will see what it can do and just be like
i think your better off buying the stage 2 turbo. it will give you 300-350 rwhp it will also only cost you 5500 plus install and maybe a tranny upgrade. i was also looking into getting a turbo from srt but it ended up being to much money and my car is almost a daily driver and due to all the down time i backed out. also on your list i saw a torque converter i would suggest don't bother because the gs300 already have a high stall speed so it doesn't do much. trust me i learned the hard way.
That is an impressive list of mods. I am like others, I can't wait to see the numbers as well as the car when it is finished. Keep us posted on the progress.
All I can say is W...... ......W!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mod till you can't mod anymore!......Then mod again!
i cant wait either and u will all be kept current i'm a virgin to the gs300 always loved and now owned. and what better way to upgrade than custom big single setup. so as long as i can give big sedans out there a run for the money and look better i'm happy. and i can comfortably scare the hell out my three passengers.
and are there downsides to this anyone??
I'm not trying to be a d$#% here but.....Tell me you aren't financing this project and tell me you own a home as well. I'm not trying to discourage you from doing it but that is a lot of $$$. Especially when you try to sell this car in a few years and only get 40 cents on the dollar on what you put into it. Some people may say... "Let him do it...its his money" But just trying to help a brotha out and make you think about it first. Cool??

I am completely behind what AZDesertGS said......Unless you have the money to spend, I would never finance any of my mods....your just asking for a big head ache....
I have read many threads and I totally agree with everyone. I just got excited for you after reading the thread and all thos mods....but again it is $30K....
i'm cofused who said finance. car paid for in cash and mods would be aswell. and for the money i know it's not cheap to get speed and power and fun. so i expected it would cost a good chunk.

I was just curious if you were financing it......If you got the funds, have at it. I would love to see the end result. Good luck and keep us all posted.
