Default 02 Sensor Question!!

Just called lexus 2day regarding the passenger side longer harness and 02... but they told me its not my passenger or driver side, its by BANK1, BANK2,BANK3....so i need 2 tell them which 1

I want this because incase i run into problems with my S&S HEADER install and the 02 issue.

Are you getting an error in one of your O2 sensor and you need to know which bank it is? Or do you just need a O2 sensor w/ a longer wire than your drivers side?

LOL, nothing is wrong! I just wanted the longer harness+02 for the header install... The 430's have problems with the drivers side not reaching...but the 400's thats a question 2 be answered soon!

So i need 2 know which bank has the longer harness, 1,2, or 3...

thanx,

I think the O2 sensor is the same for all 4 positions. Why don't you extend the wires on the O2 sensor in question? A little solder, some wire and shink tubing should do it just fine.

I can't find the pic for the header but I believe the driver side header O2 sensor ( before cat) is bank 1 sensor 1driver side after cat O2 is bank 1 sensor 2. Passenger header O2 sensor .
(before cat) bank 2 sensor 1, after cat sensor,bank 2 sensor 2.

GILLEXUS is correct, according to my manual, too. Bank one is the driver side and Bank 2 is the passenger side.

so the 02's on both sides fit? BA_400 also told me that he just had to switch the position of his 02...but he didn't extend it at all.

so im assuming the Gs400's can get away with it?

I just wanted 2 be safe than sorry

so just go ahead and do the install?

thanx again 4 all your inputs guys, i really appreciate it!
