Default o2 simulator

i know that there are some threads about using these simulators with aftermarket headers and cats. i found the site at casper electronics for buying them, but how many do i need? it has four 02 sensors, do i have to replace them all with simulators? i also saw that there were two simulators, the plug-in and the universal. if i get the universal ones what wires am i cutting and connecting on the factory 02 sensors or would i be better getting the plug and play. i have a 02' gs300, sorry about all the questions but my check engine light is on and i need to get it fixed asap it's driving me nuts!!!!

whats the reason for you to get an o2 simulator? Changed our your header and Y pipe? If one of your O2 dead, i would just replace it.

all my 02's are working, i just put on the header and " Y" pipe. as a matter of fact the rear one is only 6 months old. but after reading some forums i saw that the check engine light coming on after putting on the header and pipe is almost inevietable and that the simulators seem to be the only way of fixing it.

I bought, and will have put on very soon, the OBX header and I ordered a single O2 simulator with dual outputs. It was only $25 from O2simulator.com. I talked to one of the guys at LMS to order their O2sim but he pointed me elsewhere because thats where they get theirs and without the $5 markup. Nice guy

The O2 sims are meant to replace the rear O2 sensors after the cats. You need 1 for each rear O2 sensor.
