Exhaust Tips for 2IS
Here's one place (I never bought from them or know anything about them) I had bookmarked:

Several members have Magnaflow tips
http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/02tips.asp
Borla has tips too
http://www.borla.com/products/polished_tips.aspx and we have a CL vendor that I believe can get them still at a discount (PM DrewGS4)
"Single Oval Rolled Angle-Cut w/Clamp" is what I have on my GS (removed old-style Borla tips and welded these on) but think your original idea of the round ones similar to those on the IS above would look better on a 2IS

I appreciate your recommendations. My biggest problem is that El Paso, TX is the WORST place to find good quality aftermarket parts for my car
. Most of the shops I've visited don't have any good quality parts on stock and everything nice has to be ordered from out of state which is a little worrisome because I have to judge parts by the way they look from pictures
Anyways, I will probably go with the Borla exhaust tips because they seem to be of good quality and have a lifetime warranty My next mod decision will be the HARDEST one because I want to buy a set of Modulare M3/M4 or Auto Couture Lative wheels, but as you know they're pricey and I would have to base my decision on internet pics... If I had a shop that I could go to to see the wheels in person I would have made my decision a LONG time ago... so far, I think I like the Modulare wheels a bit better than the Auto Couture... what a dilemma!!!
I wish I was in a more "mod-friendly" city...BTW, your GS looks awesome!!!
Could not find a match for either Borla or Magna flow. Maybe take a tape measure and measure the diameter of the opening of the OEM pipe and order the same size, or do you go up in order for it to "sleeve over existing pipe?

I'd suggest somebody go to an exhaust / muffler shop that sells tips and ask them to measure it for you and show you what tips they sell (or can order) that'll fit on it. If you don't see anything that you want to buy, at least you'll know the diameter tip you need to get.
How you attach them depends on what you buy. On the Borla's I have above they came with a clamp you could use just to clamp over the OEM pipes, but I went ahead and had a muffler shop tack weld them on. Not expensive and you can get them to move your pipes around a bit to make sure they are even.
