Of course. I am not planning to get a tb and call it a day. The SRT tube is out of the equation for me. I want to be a part of the elite FI collective at some point. This upgrade is one that has not been done to our cars to my knowledge. This mod is proven on other applications.

I think the gains would be minimal, but they would exist. For $100 I would go for it. The gains would be a lot better if we could port and polish our factory intake and heads, port matched to each other. Now add all that to the torque convertor,376 gears, srt intake and you have built yourself a monster . I am in the process ( and have been for months) of finding someone with very good knowledge of this motor to help me try this out. I would like to see how much power could be made without a power adder (nitrous, blower, turbo) I've yet to find a shop that will attempt this

I think the stock GS/LS 400 Throttle body is 90mm, as big as the Q45,

I would be the guinnea pig for the bored-out TB, but my car is stock so I doubt I'll get any improvements from that.

Maybe if I had an intake and exhaust.

I think the maf sensor and ecu(maybe even slightly bigger injectors) would have to be calibrated to the larger TB size to get any decent gains. but who knows

I have the SRT Intake, ECU, header and exhaust setup and I think I might try this. I'm going FI really soon and wonder, really, how much will I benefit from this mod?? Looking at the cost, I think it might be worth it.
