The stock intake system looks like it would provide more cold
air to the car.. Since it seems to get air from almost outside
of the vehicle vs the LMS which seems like it'll suck up more
of the heated air that's trapped in the engine compartment, But i guess the
fact that the LMS's tubing is almost a straight shot , compared
to the stock unit that has sharp turns in it, makes up for the added
hot air that the LMS might get..

What do you all think?

I think that the factory intake does get more by % cold air, but the aftermarket gets more air into the engine quicker and still gets fairly cool air since the factory design has it that the air comes over the hood latch under the hood and directs cool outside air onto the filter. It's a gain in power either way you think about it.

Are you gonna hit the dyno again with the intake?

You better believe it. I never install parts on my car unless I know they WORK. If they don't I won't be keeping it even if it does sound nice. I should have the intake sometime this week. LMS said they were sending me a new one today, so a dyno session next week is very possible. I also plan to drive the car a few hundred miles with the intake on before I go on the DYNO. I wanna make sure there is time enough for the ECU to learn the new intake.
