I don't really hear any intake noise, but then again, I don't know that I've heard any clips of the car with just the stock intake. There's no aftermarket exhaust on this car, correct?

heffergm has a point abut hearing the stock motor but from memory of how mine sounds and the various motors I have heard with intakes, I think the first clip gives you a pretty good idea.

When you're off the throttle, easing into the the upper revs, is there a whistling?

Sounds nice, I like that there's no drone on the highway, and growls when you punch it

 

It does whistling on lower rpm, and when its about 4500 rmp, only thing u hear is the motor screaming...
