Default SRT Intake Install

can I just put the intake on first? or do I need to install the intake and ecu at the same time? i was thinking about just putting in the intake monday, then on friday, saturday or sunday have the ecu put in.. think that'd be a problem or should i just wait?

With just the intake on it'll probably not run or idle very well. It will more than likely it run very lean. I would wait and do it all at the same time unless you don't plan on driving the car until Sat.

you probably want to wait to do both together, I had had SRT intake without the ECU for about 150 miles (long story), It ran fine, no check engine light for me and it idle ok once the car warmed up, but not recommended like gillexus said, the car will run very lean due to the increased air flow, if you have no choice like me, then take it ease on the gas pedal would help

Simple answer - NO! Do both at the same time. You will probably find it takes longer to install the intake than it actually does to wire in the ECU!
