Did anyone know how many hp the HKS exhaust will add to the new IS?

 

I couldnt even find any exhausts that HKS has for our cars on their website.
Did they make one yet?

 

Isn't that one of the new factory or dealer options?

 

the one made by HKS for Lexus comes out in spring 06, i think.

 

it does look great but i bet the price is not going to be

 

yeh i see the HKS option in the brochure...

does anybody know if you add a aftermarket to exhaust to a car like the IS, can you hear the growl when you start the car? will the car sound like a g35, evo, 350z that sort?

i like how my current car (G35) makes a "VROOM" noise every time I start the car... is this all from the exhaust?

price has not been published yet. It is due out in late Spring. The option code is EX.

$355 is what the dealer quoted me. Best deal I could work was the threw in the rear spoiler n/c if I did the body kit. So I did.

dont' expect any gains from an exhaust.. if there are like what 5hp? its just there for asthetics and sound

 

The exhaust has yet to be released so there has not been any official numbers published yet on it's output.

For $900 you get a BIG FAT "ZERO", NADA, NOTHING, its just for looks and what doesn't make sense is that you are able to but just the tips for $65 and you get the same look.
