Give Steve at Carson Toyota a call. Might be hard to find one of those at a salvage yard.
If you've never replaced your thermostat, now would be a good time while you have the housing off -just peventative insurance.

You can get it from a junk yard or brand new from a local dealer. Most junk would not want to sell it because that will alter a complete motor. I am not sure how much it is from a dealer. However, there are many members in CL would have it extra one. ALL 1UZFE are the same. GS430 would not work.

I just broke the peice behind the hose outlet while changing the t-belt and waterpump, is that entire unit called a thermostat housing, or the peice that attaches to the hose is called the thermostat housing.

thanks all.

If you really really can't find one. Then take it to a machine shop. Get them to reweld it and grind it smooth. It will probably cost about $100 to do, but if you have no other option then getting it repaired will probably be your own choice.

Thats good searching Lextek but look at the date of the thread, he broke it 2 years ago. Pretty sure he got it fixed already. LOL.
