Does anybody know about when the cut off date is for special ordering a 2016 IS from a dealership is? I tried searching for it but I couldn't find it and I can't remember when it was between the 2015 and 2016 model years.

You can always call your dealership and ask about that.

 

Vehicle builds are usually determined by region. Certain regions only get certain builds. You can special order a vehicle, but chances are the dealer will have to pull from another region, they usually can't put in an order for you from the factory in Japan. Toyota Motor Services usually allocates the vehicles by region. Sometimes it is hard for a dealer to pull from another region. Good luck! The dealer should be able to look at the region allocations and what the other region allocations are to find what you want.
