Default Torque Converter Picture installed, anyone?

Couple of quick questions?

1. How much does it usually cost install?

2. Do you swap something out like and intake where you take the old and put in the new?

3. What does it exactly do? (Please don't answer gives more torque and pull off the line, a lil more advance answer if possible.

it usually takes about 6 hours to install, so you do the math

yeah you take out the old tq converter and put in the new one

it raises the stall speed of your tranny so the engine revs higher before it fully engages with the tranny. meaning higher and "more power" launch speed.

and btw, picture installed? it's inside the tranny, you can't see anything!

You have a 300? As far as I know it doesn't do as much for the 300 I might be wrong. Somebody chime in here and let me know if I am right. Where in NY are you If you need a mechanic I got one he installed everything on my car including timing belt.

Why do you think it wouldn't do much for 300? Just interested. I have GS300 too, and I'm just about to install TC as well.

it will still improve but not as dramatic as the gs400/430 coz' the gs300 already has a relatively high stall speed tq con to begin with
