The other option is to have one built to your specs by a quality converter outfit such as Edge Racing Converters. $425.....

Do you know anyone that has actually bought one of these? I was wondering if their TC were good or comparable to the Dragon TC.

the lextreme tc is VERY comparable with the dragon tc. ive only seen one in person, looked like a quality build and would perfectly for daily driivng use (remember to get a tranny cooler).

While a modified stock converter will increase the stall there is more to the story.

Default Before You Buy...

Do yourself a BIG favor and read the links jbrady provided above!
As he said, there is far more to the PI TC (Dragon model) than simply a higher stall speed. Read up on how they're made and check out the pics compared to stock converters or others.
Not saying other TCs won't work, but I personally would go with the PI TC even if it costs a bit more. VERY heavy duty and well designed IMO.
You should be able to get a good cooler for around $50 or so. Got mine from Summit Racing.
