Silver - Any time that U add a performance part onto an engine, U are adding some additional strain onto the internals; fuel system; ignition system; etc. Just how much is dependent on the part. Obviously an intake won't add the stress of a supercharger because U're increasing cylinder pressure dramatically with the S/C. This said, as long as the S/C 're looking at has been researched & designed by a reputable company like Swift ( & others whose names slip my mind  ) , as long as U perform the increased maintenance that modded engines generally require, I see no problems with supercharging; turbocharging or nitrous. FWIW - I had an aftermarket turbo on a 13-B engined RX-7 for over 80k miles when I sold it. Never had any problems there & all I did was increase my plug & oil change frequencies.
SilverGSguy-
I notice you live in Irvine. You should go down and check out Area 51 and talk to the guys down there. I bet they could set you up with a supercharger right now. Their superchager for the IS300 is already available and the GS300 has the same engine so they could do it pretty easily.
hey SilverGSguy. you are in IRvine? we gotta hook up and meet sometimes.. ^^. and BlkIS300 what is the time to 60 after you did the supercharging?
I really wanna konw ^^ and how many hps now?
hey Chris rite? i kinda lost the info, i saved at my AOL account, and it got deleted. anywayz.. if we are to meet gotta be these few days. cuz i am leaving Irivne soon. leave me your number! in e-mail ^^ thanks a lot
