i have mobil one synthetic gear oil in my rear diff right now. would the royal purple gear oil be safe to use in the rear diff? would 2 qts be enough? thanks

Running it in my Supra LSD as well, it is about 2 quarts to fill. I changed it from the Mobil 1 that came with the LSD, without any problems. I also did a complete drain anf fill 1500 miles after the intital changeover just to make sure I got the majority of the Mobil out.

I didn't know what was in there so I switched and put Red Line in mine.
It takes 1 and a half quarts.
Car seems faster now.. I've got the 3.76LSD
