Default Just installed Magnaflows #14829

Hey guy I just had my Magnaflows #14829 installed by a local Meineke Muffler Shop in Queens Ny. The muffflers look beautiful on the car (more pics coming). Once they wher installed, I was anxious to start it up. Once I turned the key, ther was a nice V8 vrooooom. The idle is like stock. Once you start dstart rolling, it has a deep sound (i would say simular to the Mercedes AMG v8's. It sounds like a car with more than 300 horses. The mufflers look 120% better than stock.

Awesome bro.!! Congrats!!!

Can you take lower pics.....like 2 ft off the ground from the rear? I wanna see if the mirror-like cans are visible or not? How far they hang down? Also, what part of the oem pipe did the shop cut and weld?

Btw...dont forget to reset the ECU. Let us know how it feels on the butt meter too. Gain? Loss? No change in hp?

Thanks!!!

Pete

yUP YOU CAN SEE THE MIRROR EXHAUSTS....HOTTTTT. I had them weld 2.25 inch pipes to coneect to the mufflers. The original pipe was cut befor the flange. I used High heat aluminum colered spray paint that you can buy at your local auoparts store to paint the rusty looking pipes past the cat. It now looks like a fullcat back system. i will take pics this weekend, and post them on Tuesday. I disconeccted the battery cable last night to reset the ecu. it has been sitting for hours now. Hopefully it will feel nice and crisp when I drive it again.

Well...the opportunity arose and I picked up a used set of Blitz exhaust....if not...these magnaflows would have been my choice.

Good luck to those who deciding on these...still a great value.
