Are there side effects from modding the 300 engine ? (car wont start,engine light comes on ...etc)

Well, sometimes those things happen even without any mods.

 

it threw the ECU off and the car was hesitating like its lungs were spasming (to put it in human terms).

took it off - car runs fine.

if it had run fine i maaaaaaaaaybe would have kept it but the intake makes the car louder and i bought a lexus to have a quiet car so i sold it.

Too much air? Maybe resetting the ecu would have helped a bit.

I got SRT intake+ecu...works like a champ...no hesitation at all.

i was reset the ecu so many times. i turned into a champ at disconnecting/reconnecting the battery. no dice.

guess i needed the aftermarket ecu. meh- more money.

 

Is your car a 300 ? If so , any changes in handling or driving pleasure ?

 

I Put In An Intake And My Check Engine Light Won't Turn Off - I Also Became A Professional At Disconnecting / Reconnecting The Battery.

The Car Runs Fine Though.
