Default Quoted $250 For Magnaflow Exhaust install

The shop where I plan on getting my L-Tuned Shocks and Springs installed qouted me $250. I am going with the Magnaflow, 2 for $181.

Good price? Or will I be able to do the install myself?

I will of cource ask around.

Yea I am going to be calling some more places in a couple mins for quotes..I also found it funny the install is more than both of the mufflers lol.

Next on the list: Lexus of FiFe,G&R Autosports, Tom's Racing & Performance Parts.

Are you just getting mufflers put on and that's it?? Or are you having custom work done?

If you are just getting the mufflers put on then that price is ridiculous.

Should be about $50 to weld on 2 mufflers.

Well I called 3 shops and all want OVER $200!

It doesnt look difficult to do yourself. The only problem is there are tack welds on the nuts but I am pretty sure pop's will be able to heat them up.
Any one know where I can find a walkthrough guide? For $200 bucks I'll try to do it myself with my dad.

Found a place, $45 to $50 bucks. Nationwide Bucky's brakes, mufflers, and radiators. I'll use them

My magnaflows with tips were just under $300.00 installed with tax ..... my labor was $50.00 for about 1 hours worth of work.... $230.00 for the parts.

I purchased the Mangnaflow tips.... the tips were as much as the mufflers.... but it looks & sounds sweet.

When I was pricing this system out I had bids as high as $475.00.... I also live in Southern California in a some what expensive area..... I'm sure if I shopped around I could of saved a few more bucks..... this guy was local, and came highly recommended.

NP. The reason I bought them is because several people have just recently installed them and all have said they love them, here are links:

Also IM Dx3 and he can probably send you the video he send me of his SC300. Sounds great

I will post when I have it installed along with pics
