I should be in 12's now, the problem is that the transmaisson keeps bouncing off the rev limter and wont shift when it should.

That day the best I could manage was 13.3 and that was my first pass ever. Heck I didnt even know where the end of the 1/4 mile was, I may have started slowing down earlyu for all I know. I think I had a .5 reaction time whicih really sucks but again it was my first pass ever so I didnt know what to expect.

OEM Valve Body is very soft and shift very bad. I am sending my VB to IPT to give it some juice. IPT is a very good company to deal with. The turn around time is about 3 days.

I think that our shifting issues are due to the combo of 2800 stall TC and FI personally.

I think when the car gets really cooking, i.e. it's in the sweet spot of both the turbo and the tranny gearing, the RPM's rise too quick and the tranny ecu can't hang. We may have to redo the TC down to around 2400 or find a more aggressive VB to make it shift harder.

One thing I did notice is that I minimize my rev limiter bounces if I leave the tranny in D and leave it OUT of the PWR mode. It may not matter since I believe the car automatically goes into the PWR mode if you go 100% throttle anyway (I'm not 100% on that).

I know one thing....it's frustrating as hell when she's going really strong and then you have to lift to let it shift. It's happened to me everytime I've gone to the track since going FI. The bad part is that it usually happens mid track so it kills both ET's and traps. When it happens like that, you can't even modulate the throttle to avoid it. Just get out of it and get back in ASAP. It drives me bananas.
