Fit yes Work no. The ECU controls both the trany and engine. It wiould have to be modified to work with a supra trans.

Man, downer..I had an idea thats what I was gonna hear. I keep seeing on everyones posts that the highest they will take is alittle over three hundred, is that right? Im just looking for it to hold in the mid five range. What are the is300 boys running in theirs to keep them together, from my understanding the is300 auto is similar to the gs, correct me if Im wrong. Thanks -Pdang

I Think you can get the stock 5-speed built to hold that no problem. Talk to the guys that do the supra automatics.

Get a race built tranny. give or take some but for around $3000 from SRT you can have a tranny that holds up to 800hp i believe. swiftracing.com

PHML didn't do any transmission swap. And your tranny will hold up to around 450rwhp.

The A340E from supra auto tranny will hold up to the same amount, but built by Boost Logic or SP engineering, it will hold up to 700hp.

gotcha.

the gs3 one i don't think so. i think that's pretty much the same one used for the gs4 right? the gs4 one with close to 400rwhp it already slips pretty bad

You can also get the TH400 tranny. It does require some modification to fit. TH400 is pretty much for drag racing. Many racers run this tranny.
