Default RMM vs. SRT

RMM intake: cool air (shielded intake), decent manufacturing, no ECU, some reports of knocking bacause ECU is not calibrated for increased airflow, reports have been good but some owners are saying go with the SRT and get the bigger results

SRT: cool air (shielded intake), excellent manuacturing (CNCd and reallly clean), ECU (so you get the big horsepower gains, but this does require wiring mods which can be scary), easy install, the ECU is a little trickey, reports have been great about the quality of the kit and the support from Mo

I am going with the SRT on my 2002 IS. Just my .02.

Injen is the lowest costing intake of the three. It also has a simple heat shield which acts more like a surround on the filter and not a shield that integrates the factory air scoop.

The Injen unit also does not have an ECU mod.

All of the above brands are classified as "short ram intakes" and do not locate the filter element in a cooler part of the car like a true cold air intake.
