If you stick with your 3000 intervals, you'd be wasting your money. Do yourself a favor....after your next oil change, get an oil analysis done. They will basically be able to tell you when the best time to change your oil is. Might take 2 or 3 analysis, but eventually you'll get it perfect. FYI I have seen oil analysis done that showed the oil to be in identical consition from a 3000 mile drain and a 7,500 mile drain. It's your car and your $$ though...
