BTW, your comment that "Theory states that its impossible..." is illogical IMO. Theories do not make claims to what is or is not possible , rather what is probable based on the evidence. An important distinction (although definitely off topic
)The point remains that , given the power output of your car with the mods, and the fact that it was driven by a "good driver" ( I'll take your word for it) then a 14.9 E.T. is rather slow. As you said, it could be the track or weather conditions etc.
For example, another member with an LS400 (jbrady) has run a 14.22 E.T. with less HP and more weight. 7/10 second in the 1/4 mile is a BIG difference....
