Wassup fellow CL members..I just bought a Gs3 and i am happy with is seeing as how i came all the way from a 96 civic DX with 100hp lol...now i have about 225 if i am not mistaken. I wanted a Gs4 but it was out of my budget hence the Gs3 i got a good deal on it .. but i wanna increase the HP a lil i am not really that concerned with big HP so if i can get it to about 275-300 i would be happy. But also i dont wanna spend a whole heap of money, i am still a college student.
I wanna stay below 2500 total..please help!!!
Also and advise on rims would be helpful looking to spend $1900 on da rims.

a good start is to get a catback exhaust and a intake system
on an exhaust and intake. You can't feel 10 or so horsepower. Only thing you will get is noise!
A torque converter would help you get off the line quicker and you can feel that mod.
Only way you are going to get 275-300 hp is going forced induction. www.prolexperformance.com has a supercharger that meets your needs , but it runs close to 5000.
If i was in your shoes, i would not rush things and save up for the SC.
You have to be more specific on rims. Size, design, finish ? Lots of variables .

ok he has $2500 and wants to spend $1900 on wheels that leaves $600 bux my suggestion was close to that figure and not a $5000 supercharger
Yeah a 5k supercharger is kinda up their..to high for me.. i thought u got more than 10 HP with the SRT intake and good exhaust?? thanks for the feedback though..
What do u guys think of the HP EVO lightning wheels??19"
It's your money, spend it how you like. But i've been in your shoes already. I was naive and made that small mistake. I could have used that 1350 on something else, besides noise.
I brought the SRT intake and Greddy exhaust thinking that measley 10 or so hp was going to make my car faster. Boy was i wrong, all it did was make my car louder. Unless you have some kind of special power, you won't feel the small hp increase.
All i am advising is, if you want hp you can feel, save up for the SC. I still regret buying the exhaust and intake to this day.
Spend the 2500 on a quality set of rims if you have to buy something.
Yeah i think i am gonna spend that on some nice wheels.. and just put tips on the exhaust...i am not a big fan of noise..i had a civic with exhaust and believe me it getr annoying after a while.. how much sound do u get with the ltuned exhaust tips??
Thanks for everyones thoughts i really appreacite it..
I need to find some nice wheels though ..19-20 not to flashy but makes u say woah.19*8.5 and 19*9.5 i prefer.
