Talking HKS or BORLA????? help please...

Hello all !!!!

I' m very new to this site and just bought a 2001 GS 300.

I trying to decide between BORLA or HKS.

I saw lot of the peps have the BORLA vs the HKS on this forum.

I was told that HKS is greater in sound than the Borla, but Borla is more towards performance.

Please help, goin crazy here trying to decide

What would you guys prefer????? or recommend?????

thanks,
Jay

i say HKS then again i alittle biased.. i have had borla ,rmm and now hks, hks wins in all areas to me.. looks , sound and no drone... i have been told from the rear just the way the pipes/cans look with the 5in tips , it is very menacing...

Borla.........they wont scrape the ground like HKS will. Plus, the fill in the oval bumper cutouts nicely.

Thanks all for your reply.

I think I' m gonna have to go with HKS......

looks more aggressive and I'm more towards sounds when it comes to an exhaust....

Thanks all again and will post pics soon.

Two weeks is NOTHING to wait IMO.

Try using the search feature of the forum and you'll find all the pics and info you're looking for right away, no waiting

For example:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=112355
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=126856

and expecially check out the exhaust competition for I6

Edit to correct stupidity

Yeah yeah oops.

I glanced at the LGW page to make sure I told him the right name and typed what I read on the first line 'V' instead the the right thing.

"LGW DVD - V8 Exhaust Competition

LGW DVD- I6 Exhaust Competition"
