Default I'm EXHAUSTED..help me spend my $$$$

Ok,

Well exhaust is going to be my first mod. I'm a V8 fanatic from way back, so I need to hear the V8 a bit more than stock. I've search the archives, and read up. But there are SO many choices, and many of those choices even change year to year with new product releases. So it up to you...the ClubLexus faithful to guide me and spend my money!!!! (we all love spending other people's money!)

So here are my WANTS in determining the exhaust that YOU will recommend and make me want to buy.

1) Car is my daily driver. Thus, it can't be obnoxiously loud. I do a fair amount of highway driving too, so the dreaded drone is a consideration

2) Must look nice, but not overdone as the rest of the car is stock.(Antique Bronze Mica colour) I know that certain cars (like one's with a bodykit) look better with a larger can and tips. Mine is stock, so nothing too huge.

3) Not a big concern for price. I will pay for quality

4)And finally, sound. Must sound powerful and lusty when called upon, but quiet when just cruising. Am I asking too much?

Ok..on your mark....get set....SPEND MY MONEY!!!

i have the apexi ws, awesome i say. there are a bit droning from 2k to 2800k but after that its' very quiet, so highway is perfect, not annoying at all. i love the look too

Dont have exhaust yet but have the same concerns as you and I am planning on going with the Apexi WS also. Considered the Carson tuned and the Blitz Nur Spec also.

the ONLY thing i don't like about them is they are axle back not cat back. (correct me if the blitz is cat back though)

Here's a pic of the what the Carson Tuned exhaust will look like. You get what you pay for... Top Notch Quality! Since price isn't a concern, then get ready to dish out $965+.

Note: The price on the exhaust went up due to the Yen in Japan.

Thumbs up RMM meets all your criteria...

NO droning, quiet while cruising, sounds awesome under WOT (especially with the K&N intake) and the cans are small and unobtrusive stainless steel with very nice tips. Great quality-paid $600 for mine.
Here's a couple of links to see what it looks like:
