Default Front mount Intercoolers??

Are there any out there? Just wondering, other than the Blitz front mount intercooler, i haven't seen any, but i think the Blitz is for a Turbo/Super Charger, so it's not a stand alone.

What? There are many front mount intercoolers. They can mount on any vehicle. You will need to fab it up to make it fit.

yeah i thought a lot of intercoolers are front mount anyway, and they are "universal" so you just have to fit it in the car?

Yes all front mount will fit any car as long as you are willing to modify it. It's the piping that's custom and vehicle-specific, especially if you are building a custom turbo engine.

But, why do you need an FMIC anyway? Do you have a turbo GS400 planned that we know nothing abt?

No none of the above! lol. It was just a general question b/c i ran across the blitz front mount and was just wondering if any other company such as SRT or RMM produced one that was stand alone w/o forced induction.

Default Intercooler w/o forced induction?

Normally you wouldn't need an intercooler if you didn't have forced induction under your hood whether it be turbo or supercharged. It's just that forced induction generates more heat giving the need to cool off the compressed air with use of a air-air or air-water intercooler. IMHO i've never seen a FMIC on a car that wasn't boosted.....unless its a ricey civic looking for a cool looking addition to his already ugly multi-colored bodykit.........

You might be talking about radiators. PWR makes them and so does C & R but i'm not sure if they have an application for the GS. If you are boosted GReddy, HKS, Blitz, Apexi are just some names that make intercoolers for forced induction applications.

Hope this is of help.

Either that or he already has a turbo kit on and he just needs the I/C to complete the kit. If that's what you mean, then there's PLENTY of choices for you..... hks, spearco, etc

I'm not boosted at all maybe in the future, i am working on another project but the funds haven't come in yet, so i can even get it started. But i was just asking as a general question b/c i know they make front mounts for a lot of other cars, and was just wondering if there was any out there for the GS. I'm not planning on buying one unless i get FI. But that won't come for some time!
