Buyers for used TT units need to be patient, look on www.supraforums.com and buy from someone who appears legit, lots of posts, been a member a long time, etc. You should be able to get one or less than 800 shipped to you.

Good luck.
Yeah, $890 does seem to be high. I am trying to get the seller to drop the price a bit. I am located in Guam which is about 4 hour flight from Australia. I guess I just need to be patient looking for one in the states. Do I get a Auto or Manual TT unit one?

Default LSD

Must be an auto from a TT from 93.5 to 98 only. The manual does not have the correct gearing for your car.

Do a search you will find a ton of info on the specifics of the supra LSD.

Actually, look for a '93.5-95' auto TT rear end...in '97-98 the LSD rear end was optional, so in most cases they don't have them. Not sure about '96 though.

Stock, the GS4 has 3.2X and the GS3 has 3.9X. So the 3.76 gearing would be a performance enhancement for the GS4 but not for the GS3.

on a stock gs4 at 85mph it's about 2500rpm, at 90mph it's close to 3000

with the 3.76 gearing i believe it's about 300rpm higher?

On the freeway down to TM Engineering to have mine installed and then again on the way home after the LSD install, I recorded the following RPMs:

STOCK: 60 mph = 1950 rpm 80 mph = 2650 rpm
3.76 LSD 60 mph = 2250 rpm 80 mph = 3000 rpm

Bear in mind that this is with my tire/wheel size and they are approximate rpms.

True! The Supra TT diff weighs 93.5 lbs with no lube. The stock diff for GS4 weighs 86 lbs.

With 3.76 diff on my GS400 I'm at 3000 rpms at 80. I think it was about 2650 with stock diff.
