Hi all:

looking for a 99 or 00 gs400 platinum or just nice used with 45k or less miles that I can begin to add mods to.

I plan on spending no more than $25k. Is this reasonable?

I found some possible candidates online. I was under the impression that the 99-00 4.0 engine was a 32 valve v-8.

I ran the "free carfax check and they have it listed as a 24valve v-8. Is this right?

Does anyone want to take a moment and answer this question. Yes, I know that I can definitely find it by looking for it, but if anyone has a super quick response, one would definitely be appreciated.

You are correct. The GS400 has a four-cam, 32-valve engine.
