Default More Sparks!

Hi,
I would like to know if anyone has installed an HKS Hyper Twin Pack ignition system in the 98+ plus GS before? What kind of results was achieved? How hard is it to install? Is the IS engine the same platform as the GS?

I don't think you can run the Twin power with the ignition system on the GS because the GS utilizes individual coil packs to provide the spark energy to each spark plug. You will need to have a system that uses points or utilizes a distributor for the Twin power/ or MSD to work.

Did a little more research. There appears to be a system by MSD that may work!! It is called a "stacker ignition. I am trying to get more information from some of my race buddies that are into this kinda stuff. I used to be up to date on this but since I gave up drag racing, I have fallen off the leading edge tech stuff for ignitions. I will keep you updated.

you can look at this system on this web site
