Default Strange Noise...help!

Under moderate to heavy acceleration, the my 2000 gs4 with about 120k miles is making a ticking/pinging noise but its coming from what seems like underneath the center console/front seat area. The car was overhauled last august and and every part that can be replaced was. She's up to date on all fluids and other parts. Otherwise healthy as a horse. Anyone have an ideas? thnx

I've got a similar noise - mine however seems to come from the left side of the engine bay. Almost like a card in a bicycle wheel. Goes away when it is warm out. Dealer claims it is a fuel injector.
