Now on to the scary part - the install cost............ I just talked to my mechanic and he quoted me at least $500.00. I guess when I buy my headers, they will be sitting in the garage collecting dust till I can afford the extra $500.00 for the install.

O.K. Guys,
Paid in full. Just got off the phone with the fabricator. They said I was number 4. It's put up or shut up time. The good news for the folks that are on the fence is that a second run is also scheduled. Very happy for my CL brothers and sisters that wanted to wait. They won't miss out at all. If they decide later that they do want the headers.
Now, I wonder if the ones that are already paid in full get theirs sent sooner.
Just kidding guys. Who's number three anyway?
Will

ORDERING INFORMATION
Ok, here is the deal, everyone needs to give a big round of applause for the people that joined the committed list. This was required to get enough committed buyers so that the manufacturer would build the first set without getting any money up front. Good job and thank you guys!
Now, I asked Loren Barnes at S&S Headers (the owner, fabricator, manufacturer) if I should post his contact info online. He said yes. So with due thanks given to the committed list participants; here is the contact info for anyone that wants to buy these but has not yet joined the list.
PLEASE limit you phone calls and questions to him to questions not answered already here on this thread. We do not want to bog him down with repetative questions. In fact if you have questions just post them here. If it is best answered by Loren I will say so and suggest you call at that point. If you want to place an order you can of course call direct.
Here is how it works. Send in a $200 deposit. You will be put in line based on your order position. When your set is ready you will need to pay the balance of $400 + s/h.
Remember, he will only make minimum runs of 20 sets. If you order now you will get a set. If you wait you may have to wait a while until there are 20 orders. There is no guarantee this will happen.

Looks like John beat me to the punch, I knew he was up to something while I was sweating it out in the shop
I'd like to thank John for opportunity to test out the headers and the installers, Krazed Kustoms Garage of Houston who worked all night to get the headers on the car and me out the door... gotta luv those guys.
Getting back to the installation, the installer told me the passenger side was just as 'intersting' as the driver's side with the 4 manifold bolts on the first 2 runners being very difficult to take out. There was a problem getting the bolts back into the the driver's header flange and cat flange, this process took them over an hour to insert 1 bolt. Another issue was the angle of the O2 bunge, both these issues have been conveyed to Jbrady and Loren.
For those who don't know, I have a 1999 GS400 w/ 60K on the clock. No problems after the installation and hopefully none down the road. As far as performance, there's a definite improvement, especially noticable after 3K rpm. Haven't gotten to pull it to redline yet, hopefully will do that tonight to listen for any extraneous noises from the headers or exhuast. AS for cabin noise, there's absolutely none...amazing. Still Lexus quite at idle and crusing
I'll be posting pics later tonight and will be happy to guide anyone through the installation if necessary, could be a nice weekend project for any gear head.

Very interested to hear more about the performance aspects when you get to break the headers in a little more. Also, estimations of hp increase, noise, yada yada yada.
Thx man, and thx JBrady

I am glad to see this happening, and I don't even have a GS4. I am sharing the joy of my GS4 friends.
I can' t wait so hear more results and read about all the installs.
Congrats to everyone involved who persevered to this point. I won't say anything to jbrady because, well, what more can be said.
