Default Headers with only a muffler delete

Hey everyone, I drive a 2015 lexus is350 and I installed a remark axle back exhaust(muffler delete) which sounds really good already but when you get into high rpm’s there’s barely any sound. So i was thinking about doing ppe headers and then run a M-force pop tune. My question is would that be bad considering all i have is a muffler delete. i understand that i can’t find a video on it because everyone just runs a midpipe to go with it, but most people end up putting mufflers back on their car. thanks for the help!

the mid pipe also has a set of cats on it, you shouldnt get a pop-tune with the cats still on, thats why people get the midpipe too. if im not mistaken on the m-force or maybe the RR-racing site, for the "pops and bangs" selection it says "must be de-catted" so id assume its the same across the board. but getting the midpipe would be the way to get more exhaust sounds anyway rather than buying a tune for some pops.

in my case, i decatted my second set of cats, got a axle back with a muffler, added a carbon intake tube with the "F-Sport" oem intake box, and once i get the headers THEN im doing the tune, so i can get it tuned to how i want it to run all at once, without needing to retune or flash it again

Before Headers and after Headers other exhaust parts a totally different sounding. The set up you had you liked before Headers just about always sounds horrible, after you install the Headers, unless you like Rasp, Drone and extra loud sound. Ask those who installed Headers.

If you are running a Muffler Delete get ready for having the loudest car around with Headers. You won't believe how loud that V6 can be.

the reduced sound at higher RPM's is likely due to the resonators. Headers will definitely make it considerably louder through the entire RPM range though, but if you're going to get headers i would re-do the entire exhaust in a larger diameter pipe while you're at it so you can make the most power from the tune you will need to run catless. Also, if you run the stock midpipe with headers you're going to blow out the catalyst from your secondary cats, so there's another reason to just get the entire setup re-done. If all you want is the sound and don't care about performance the have at it, but i suspect you will probably end up iteratively changing almost every piece of the exhaust trying to get it to sound how you want after the headers.
