Default Driveshaft question

Hey all,
I need to get a new driveshaft made or my old one remade. I have 2jz with cd009 trans. My question is can I get rid of the driveshaft rubber isolator? If I go with a one piece driveshaft. Car is not my daily. I just do not see how that rubber part will hold up on launches and aggressive driving. Can I bypass it? What would you recommend? I saw driftmotion had some adapter. I want to get the driveshaft right the first time.
I was also thinking using longer bolts and that will let me bolt the driveshaft straight to the rear end.

Thanks

Ok, how about any one who is running 500hp+ are you still on the rubber flex coupler where it bolts to the rear differential?

This is what I am talking about
