Sc300 electrical gremlims! All help appreciated
Hey everyone I have a 1992 sc300. Its the stock ge motor with a r154. The car was perfectly normal up until recently. Once in a while it would take a couple clicks to get the motor to crank. One day it wouldnt crank and i had no check engine light. I replaced my ecu with a good working one. I have replaced the ignition switch. When i changed my ignition switch my cel came back on. My cluster lights are mostly all out now besides the oil level light and check engine and airbag. If i jump the starter (not the battery) it starts right up perfectly. Every wire in the fuse box is tight. Ive replaced the starter relay, and the efi relay. I replaced the st fuse and the efi fuse.
Now one thing i noticed when checking fuses is when i put the test light on the ST fuse in the kickpanel my cluster lights turn on but the car still wont crank!!I
All my motor grounds are in place, and the grounds on the center console are in place. Im stumped
theres probably a short somewhere but i cant find it for the life of me. Any wiring gurus pls help!!
I have a 2jzgte at home waiting to get swapped in but i cant till i figure this out
