Default AM2 Fuse Continually Blows

Hopefully somebody has some expertise that I can glean from here. This fuse blows as soon i turn the ignition switch to "ON". However, if I let it sit for a day I can replace the fuse and it will try to start before blowing again. Then it will not so much as click with successive attempts. I have checked all the wires (not a professional) and they seem to be ok, none touching with broken insulation. I've also unplugged every o2 sensor, coil, and relay individually and attempted to start to try and isolate the problem. Blows the fuse every time. What is strange is the fact that if the car sits it will not immediately blow the first time, which leads me to think that the problem is in the starter. I need further direction from someone experienced and I greatly appreciate the help!

You've found the wiring diagram, AM 2 goes to ignition switch, first step turns on all the circuits on the second page, second step triggers starter. If it happens when you trigger starter then the starter is likely faulty.

hopefully if you’re still around here you can help, but I’m having this problem currently and mine isn’t triggered by the starter because it doesn’t even allow me to attempt to start, once the key is turned to the on position it blows the AM2 fuse

does a bad ignition switch in these kind of problems?

Check / replace the starter relay in the under-hood fuse box, next to the battery.
