Default Buying 1jz...warning signs?

Hey everyone I'm back. Been gone for awhile after my engine blew up and sold the turbo kit off my NAT. Now that's it's spring almost I finally found a 1jzgte out of a JZZ30 soarer with uncut harness and ecu and auto trans. It's pretty local so I'm looking at it tomorrow and I know to look at the common things like the oil. Trans fluid, any mods, water damage, cut wires. Also I know the turbos go bad easily on the 1jz and I am probably gonna rock the stock twins before I go single in the future. So what's a good way to check them besides just shaft play? Any suggestions? What else should I be looking for when looking at this engine?

I would check the harness really good. Make the ignitor, map sensor, etc, comes with it. Can you verify the mileage of the motor and trans?
