Knock Sensor?
this is my 1jz-gte harness, are these my knock sensor wires?
?

yes those are, as you can see they are shielded.

where do those wires run? did you trace them?

easiest way to find out is to trace then on the harness.......

yes the 1JZ and 2JZ engines both have two knowck sensors. i am pretty sure you dont need to extend them at all. most people just leave them alone. some say that you do need to extend them. when a friend of mine did the swap there was no need to extend those it had like another 3" of clearance in the harness.

your confusing me i am extending the entire harness from the plugs but i dont know what wires connect to the knock sensor. i was just going to ring them out with a multi meter.

why did you circle so many connectors? what are you trying to do with those wires for the knock sensor?

the RED clips are the clips i have to extend. the Greenis where i extended from. i just need to know if the two sensors i circled in post #8 are the knock sensors?

93 people look at this post and none of them know what wires go to the 1jz knock sensors!!!
