1JZ/2JZ crank pulley
So I got my 1j started and running but I noticed that the crank pulley was wobbling so now I need a new one but 275 for one seems really steep. I found one on amazon for 55 bucks here it is should I go with the cheap one or should I be wary of the 200 dollar price difference?

I had to bite the bullet and paid $400 for mine at the dealer.
Had to drive home the next day and the 4 junk yards I tried none of them had one in acceptable condition for the $250 asking price they wanted.
I'm glad at the very least the one thing I don't have to worry about is it being a faulty pulley. But I had plans for that money and wish I could get it back.

Ask yourself a few questions...
Are you going to own this car in the long run? How many miles do you put on your car annually?
I went the cheap route and bought a used oem one for $60 from a club lexus member. Sure, it might last....5 years...but in reality, will you own this car or put 10,000's of thousands of miles annually on the next crank pulley?

My advice is spend the money on a good one. You can never tell when a used one will go bad. I have changed mine 3 times in the 5 years I have owned my car. The third time I bit the bullet and got a fluidampr . I figure if I ever sell the car I can swap it with a used one and sell it back. I prefer spending the money and having piece of mind that it wont go bad on me suddenly.

So I bought the cheap one for the meantime since its not that hard to change, ill buy a better aftermarket one in a year or 2 if this one lasts that long haha. If it breaks ill update this thread with how long it lasted lol
