Default does a soarer 1jz downpipe match with a stock sc300 midpipe?

Just wondering if my stock sc300 midpipe will mate with my soarer 1jz downpipe. If thats the case i dont have to go to a exhaust shop for for help and i can just buy a Mk4 3" midpipe

Was it a stock downpipe or aftermarket?

Exactly lol. If it dosnt match up then id have to go to a exhaust shop and have them make a properly lengthed midpipe to mate with the stock downpipe. Im really hoping it does match up lol. Itl save me a bit of cash

edit 12/8/2013:

from looking at my 1jz downpipe and my stock sc3 header (downpipe whatever you wana call it) and its preety dam close, i know the 2jzge trannys are the same used on the 1jz and just from eye balling it i can see that the downpipe flange on my 1jz is close or right next to front of the transmission oil pan, so i used this method to get a base line in fitment, on my sc3 stock 2jzge, the downpipe flange is also right next to the front of the tranny oil pan, so just by looking it, it gives me a good feeling that the 1jz downpipe will match to my stock sc3 midpipe with no problem. but once again this is just from eyeballing it, i took no measurements what so ever.

Soarer 1jz seems to match up with stock sc300 midpipe, there will be no problem. I recommend just getting 3" DP and midpipe to save your stock turbo's. Got mine custom made, its cheaper and serves the purpose for budget builders.

Ok perfect, i dont plan on a downpipe for the stock twins unles it can be had cheap. Il be going single later so im looking make my exhaust only as needed. Wont be over boosting the stock twins either its gona stay at stock psi.

But yes as of right now im planning on getting a mk4 supra midpipe 3" , Then Geting a 3" catback made.
But i dont know yet if the mk4 supra midpioe is identical to that of a sc3

no it's not, and the tranny from the sc (w58) isn't used on the 1jz factory, although it will bolt up and work

Look through 4urxtc's threads, he ordered a mk4 exhaust off of eBay and had it modified to fit, didn't look to hard to do although the place he took it to sucked. He also has a stock soarer dp for sale.

Buy the mid pipe and an exhaust for a mk4 and have an extension and hangers made at a shop.
