Hard Start, Speedometer & Tachometer Doesn't work
Hey everyone I have a 1993 Sc 300 5-speed
only has 76k miles
it takes a couple of cranks to start up... like 4 seconds of holding the ignition
but after its running and i drive for a while then turn it off.. when i go to start it again it
starts like a champ. then after its been off for about 4 hours or so it has the hard start again
also the speedometer and tachometer doesn't work sometimes unless i smack the top of it
any ideas of what it could be??

sounds like someone previously has been in the cluster before. This happens when the needles have been removed and put back on for replacement or so on. Try removing the cluster again and pushing down on the needles just a little and see what happens. If they are all the way down already, then slightly pull up ever so evenly and then see what happens.
Are the needles the same color of the original or different? When you say not working, do you mean not lighting up or moving at all?
As to the hard starting, the first thing I would check is the fuel pressure going to it. If you cant hear the fuel pump as you turn the key to the on position, I would do the factory ecu bypass or fuel pump bypass, which can be found on here. Its taking two wires and splicing them together and thats it. See if that fixes it, if not, report back, and we will trouble shoot further.
