The last 5-6 times I've been out of town for at least 3-7 days so the car has been sitting.When I crank it up the idle goes up/down from 300-1000 rpm for a minute unless I give it gas or engine warms up.It also has a strong exhaust smell at every start .It's a 5spd SC300 with 130,XXX miles on it.Any ideas what's causing this?

Easiet thing that you can do is clean the iacv. Super easy to clean. Just clean the tip, google where it is.if.you dont know.
