Default acceleration problem

93 sc400, with cold air intake mod.

its running no codes.

but is stumbling through the rpms, during wot.

and rpms bounce, at idle, and engine will completely shut off if sitting idling for a period of time.

if you unplug the maf then all symptoms go away. but of course the engine check light comes on.

this started when the intake mod was installed.

i will provide pic.s and video later today.

ok well i think i fixed it. i will post video if the symptoms arise again.

Check for vacuum leaks first. If it runs better with MAF disconnected, you got a bad MAF.
