My sc is approaching 120000 miles and i notice that when im at the stop light that my car vibrates as soon as i press on the gas it goes away. The vibration is deep. My question is how can i determine whether it is my engine mounts or the transmission mount or something else?....btw the is sc is a 97

Sounds like the carrier bearing in the driveshaft is slack, or the trans mount.

When you gas it, it puts a load on it and straightens out? Thats probably what you are looking at.

Carrier bearings suck, Driveshafts should just be one big horsepower eating piece!
