Default No start when cold problem. help im stomped

the car is a 1995 sc300 w/ 1jzgte - non vvt engine. the swap was not done by me, and the guy who did it, made his own harness.

the car will not start when cold. it just cranks and cranks, if you do get it somewhat started. it runs stupid ruff and crappy until it starts to warm up. while the car is cold and barely running, if u tap the gas it dies right away. but when the car warms up, your good to go, runs prefect. im lost here. we swapped out the coolant sensor. with what we think was a good one, but no change, swapped the map sensor no change. could the timing be off a tooth? when the car barly is running it is rich. but i don't get how it does it just while cold

also, the car has a fmic. thats it. rest is a stock 1jz swap from a soarar.

please anything will help. i need my car running again lol

check your fuel pressure during the morning and see if it's within specs. I suspect fuel starvation.
