Default Input needed; pics inside of my distributor cap

Hey CL....recently purchased a 92 sc400...187k miles.....love the car....day after getting it on the road it started having problems such as the car creeping to speed....lack of power....i've done a lot of research on this site and so far i have replaced spark plugs, wires, oil change, in process of ordering 2 ignition coils...i was looking at some threads about maintenance and saw cap and rotor...looks like an easy job...i just went outside and removed the distributor cap by the driver side and it does look like it needs to be replaced. Here are some pictures, can someone tell me exactly where the rotor is? also looking at the cap like that, im hoping thats all that needs to be replaced along with ignition coils to get the car running good...any input is appreciated thanks!

ok did a little more research...lol...my guess is that the rotor is all eaten up....and all i have left is the two screws holding the rotor....well what was a rotor.....question....when i order the new one, is it supposed to put on a certain way/angle? or just bolt it right up? thanksss

HOLY COW, the rotor completely disintegrated. The pink chunks of plastic was the rotor, how the engine even ran is beyond belief.

How about the passenger side?

If I remember right, the rotor is keyed and can only be installed in one position. It also comes with new screw.

haha, that thing is toast...
there won't be a "mark" but it wil only go one one way.
oh, you're gonna want to replace both rotors, and both caps. That cap is also pretty fubar.

that is truly amazing how that thing disintegrated, never seen that before.
You were definitely running on 4 cylinders.
Good news is when you are done the engine will feel great.

I can't believe that happen. Hopefully that's not a glimpse of things to come. Looks like you need some valve cover gaskets.
