Default I have a bad oil leak on front of my engine

I have a 93 sc300 and i have a bad oil leak in front of my engine theres a little on my water pump, alternator, looks to be a some behind my crank and all over the bottom front of my oil pan. Drips like crazy everywhere i go it leaves a small puddle but engine still runs good just oil leak is getting worse and worse. I pulled my top plastic timing cover off and seems to be some oil on the inside of it to but i couldn't see any oil on the metal plate behind the cam gears. so im not sure if its the cam seals or the crank seals or anything else for that matter.... i bought it from a guy and before i bought it he told me he tried to fix the leak by putting new crank seal on it and said he replaced the timing belt and serp tensioner, spark plugs and valve cover gaskets. And he said after he replaced all that it was still leaking so he was clueless. So needless to say i knew what i was getting into when i bought it. But i have wanting this car for years so i bought it still. So has anybody ran into this problem before and if so can you give me some opinions and info on replacing whatever needs to be fixed. I havent replaced cam seals nor crank seals before so i need some direction. i have basic mechanic skills to do the job just looking for an little input and advise...... Thank you.

Its more than likely the front mail seal behind the crank pulley. It tends to splash everywhere while youre driving, it can make quite a mess and if you run synthetic you'll see more of a leak.

you will have to set your time at TDC and remove the crank pulley . It takes about 2-3 hours depending on your experience. The crank seal is a pain.... to only remove and install a lil rubber seal.

This. It is notorious for leaking and covering all those things you mentioned in oil. Plus it'll be th easiest thing to check/fix

I would check your dizzy o ring like previously mentioned. If you still have a leaking problem, it could be that the front main was not installed correctly. I've seen this happen on rear main seals. They only leak once there is a build up of oil pressure. The front main seal is easy to replace, it's just time consuming due to the amount of other things you'll need to remove to do so. If you've got basic mechanical skills, you'll be just fine!

Everyone told me front main seal and cam seals. I bought them and didn't install them on a hunch. My valve cover gaskets were ok but where you have to use FIPG, they had used RTV which in turn lifted eventually apparently and allowed oil to go down to the vacuum line behind the cam cover, travel down, and coat the side of my motor.

It's easiest just to buy a UV Kit and put some dye in the oil and check where it's coming from.
