Default rebuilt stock motor now turbo

My attention were to swap my 2jzgte but funds were short and the bills were billing up. SOLD the motor but not giving up on the performance results I want from my sc.

Rebuilding the stock motor then going the route on building up the stock 2jz.

I want mid 400whp. What needs to be done sc bros?

Why do you need to rebuild the stock engine? Did you blow it up? Unless you have an obvious problem with it, you dont need to rebuild it. TRUST ME.

Seals are HUGELY different then a rebuild.

Oil leaks are commonplace anyway... ive got 2 or 3 that I cant fix... and Im a professional. LOL.

Just save your money, fix your rear main and build your car.

Rebuild was the wrong word to use. I ment to fix oil leaks, timing belt, and other little problems here n there. Then I want to go for bolt on performance. What all do I need and got to do to get the results I want?

just do a tt headgasket and ARP headstuds and you'll be making 400+whp easy w/ a small turbo.

theres a good thread on the main SC page that just got started on going na-t. Get yourself a manifold, a turbo, some rx7 injectors, a walbro fuel pump, and an ebay intercooler/piping kit. Start looking up costs for those things individually and you'll start to get a better idea of the kind of costs you'll be looking at. The rest of the little things like oil-feed/return lines, gaskets, etc. you'll start to get a feel for as you get a little deeper into the project. Also start to decide if you can afford to go standalone ecu or run a piggyback.

OP has a worn auto... stick to stock engine until you do a MT swap.

injectors and and headstuds and MHG are unnecessary with a crap tranny.
