D.I.Y. - Lexus center wheel cap for G35 19' Rays
#20
When I bought the car it had some pretty ghetto 20's on it which are popular in S. Fla where I bought the car. However here in Tampa Bay they were hideous. A good friend of mine wks at the local Nissan dealership so I called him up to see if he had any 350Z take offs (which I always liked) there. They had 4 sets and I was able to pick these up with good Brigstone Potenzas for $150.00
Through a search I found a guy on here who had done the same thing and fabed up some caps for them. When I pm'ed him he told me he had since sold the wheels but still had the center caps but that they were pretty faded. I just took the Lexus emblems off and put a good wet sanding to them and repainted the caps. The emblems were then painted gloss black and glued back on. 2 Coats of clear and reinstalled.
Big thanks to broda805 for sending me the caps for just the shipping cost.

Looking good, Launch1.
If you've ever looked for Lexus center wheel caps, you'll notice that all newer (06+) models comes with one consistent size, which is about 6cm in diameter. Those caps have Lexus emblem just small enough to be fitted on to Infiniti wheel center cap. So in theory, any 06+ Lexus wheel center cap should work. Not just the IS caps.

They look great, wanted to know if there were any that just fit right in, from newer is or ?
I started my own set think they look great, one down 3 to go.
Use a dremel, trace the oem engine lexus symbol and adhere anyway you choose. Photos attached.
